Phil Hayes-St Clair

General Manager Corporate Affairs

Phil joined Transfield Holdings as General Manager, Corporate Affairs in 2010. Reporting to the Joint Managing Directors, Phil is responsible for corporate communications, government and public relations, community investment and brand management.

Experienced in adapting to and managing a range of corporate affairs matters, Phil has day-to-day interface and works closely with key managers across the corporate group including accounting, finance, tax, project development, HR and legal.

Phil also provides operational support to selected Transfield assets including Novatec and Perisher, and is a Director and Novatec’s representative in the Australian Solar Thermal Energy Association. Phil is also the founding director of philanthropy and community investment consulting firm HSC & Company and prior to that worked at AMP Financial Services in marketing and product manufacturing.

From 2001 to 2007 Phil worked for Suncorp Metway Limited in Brisbane and Sydney gaining experience in corporate strategy, and commercial and general insurance.

He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Microbiology) from the Queensland University of Technology and a Graduate Diploma of Management from the Australian Graduate School of Management.
