David Gonski AC

Chairman

David Gonski is a solicitor who graduated from the University of New South Wales in the mid 1970s with qualifications in Commerce and Law.

He is Chairman of Investec Bank (Australia) Limited, which acquired his corporate advisory firm Wentworth Associates Pty Ltd in March 2001, and Coca Cola Amatil Limited. He is a Director of ASX Ltd, the Westfield Group and Singapore Airlines.

David is Chancellor of the University of New South Wales, Chairman of the UNSW Foundation, Chairman of Sydney Grammar School and Senior Adviser to Morgan Stanley.

Previous roles include Member of the Takeovers Panel, President of the Art Gallery of New South Wales Trust, Chairman of the Australia Council for the Arts and Chairman of the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA).
