Executive Board Member

David has been with Transfield since 1989 in various executive roles, including CEO of Transfield Energy. He currently leads Transfield’s solar energy development activities in Australia and represents Transfield's interest in the Sydney Harbour Tunnel Company, Perisher and Brisbane Airtrain.

He has a PhD in Chemical Engineering and has developed projects and businesses in the transport, energy, environmental and water sectors.

Prior to joining Transfield he was Director-General of Transport for the NSW Government, and before that, Principal Engineer of the Environmental Protection Authority. He was a Harkness Fellow and has worked in Laos and the United States.
