David Iverach

Senior Advisor

David has held various executive roles with Transfield since 1989, including CEO of Transfield Investments. David now advises Transfield as a Senior Advisor on solar projects and represents Transfield's interest in the Sydney Harbour Tunnel Company and Perisher.

Prior to joining Transfield he was Director-General of Transport for the NSW Government, and before that, Principal Engineer of the Environmental Protection Authority. He was a Harkness Fellow and has worked in Laos and the United States.

David is the Chairman of BioPower Systems, a startup Australian wave and tidal energy company and a Director of AirTrain City Link, the Brisbane airport rail system. David is also Chairman of the Management Investment Committee for Campus Living Villages.

He has a PhD in high temperature combustion and a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical), both from the University of New South Wales.
