Rob is Manager Investments for Transfield and holds a Master of Business Administration finishing in the top 10 of his year.
Rob joined Transfield in 1998 and has been involved in the financing of a number of key developments within Transfield and Campus Living including the listing of Transfield Services, the financing for the development of the iconic $650 million Walsh Bay urban redevelopment and Transfield's equity and finance representative in bidding, financing and developing the $1.7 billion Lane Cove Tunnel project. Rob is also one of Transfield's representatives on the Sydney Harbour Tunnel Management Committee
Rob has also been actively involved in the development and growth of Campus Living's business in Australasia and America where he was involved in the financing and acquisition of the Macquarie University Village, the Canterbury University Villge, Kelvin Grove and the Century acquisition in the United States in 2006.
Prior to Transfield, Rob was at Patrick's where he was involved in the redevelopment and acquisition of Patrick's on-wharf infrastructure including the transformation of Patrick's on-wharf cargo handling fleet across Australia where the total capital cost was in the order of $500 million. Rob also held the positions of National Marketing Manager and Product Development Manager and was responsible for the first fully-integrated logistics solution in organizing cargo movement from the wharf to warehouse.
Prior to Patrick, Rob worked for various subsidiaries of the Howard Smith Group and held the positions of Company Secretary and Group Accounting Manager.
